Our Story
In short, we just want to share our love for third spaces and local communities.

Why we started
Inspiration for Her Third Spaces came to our founder, Priyanka, when she learnt that one of her favourite third spaces in the neighbourhood had closed down due to insufficient revenue and soaring costs.
Having lived in London for almost a decade, Priyanka knew that third spaces were a big part of why she loved this city. Conversations with friends supported her guess that it's not just her. People are increasingly looking for things to do outside their screen, be part of a community and support local businesses. Women, in particular, consider these informal and comfortable environments a great way to foster social interaction, conversation, and a sense of community.
On the other side, local businesses are popping up in neighbourhoods with new ideas and events every month. But the nature of their business meant they didn't always have sufficient resources to market and connect with their customers at scale.
Always up for a challenge, Priyanka saw an opportunity to build a platform to connect local third spaces with local customers. And so began the journey of Her Third Spaces

What are
Third Spaces?
A "third space" is a social environment distinct from home and work. It's a public place where people gather informally and regularly. Examples include cafes, libraries, and parks. These spaces foster community, creativity, and relaxation. They're crucial for social interaction, civic engagement, and combating isolation in modern society.
